Code of Conduct

Dear Fellow Cretans,

When rules and guidelines are clearly defined, real and potential problems are eliminated. Please understand that all of us know that the majority of convention participants do not require any rules, yet a very few may disrupt the convention for the majority. These guidelines will only assist us in keeping this convention orderly, without incident and in an atmosphere of family participation. Please assist us in letting everyone know that the spirit of this Code of Conduct is positive and for the well being of our Association and its membership. All individuals upon arriving at the convention will be required to sign the CODE OF CONDUCT policy.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Respectfully submitted,

42nd PAA NATIONAL CONVENTION COMMITTEE

As a condition of participation, the guidelines below will be strictly adhered to by all participants at the 42tnd PAA/PYA National Convention.

Scope

All participants as Orthodox Christians, PAA members and PYA members who participate in this convention are expected to exemplify the highest moral and ethical conduct at all times

In the event any participant or group violates the rules or guidelines, it may lead to expulsion from the convention site at the violators’ expense.

Guideline

2. Any and all damage of property will be paid in full by the person or persons causing the damage. Property damage may result in expulsion from the convention.

7. Excessive familiarity – Any time young ladies and young men gather, there is a temptation to bend the rules on room visitations while at the hotel. This is strictly discouraged without proper supervision.

9. Disrespect – Any disrespect shown to clergy, a fellow Cretan, hotel/convention staff, or any other individual shall not be condoned.

10. All attendees are required to show their bracelet/wristband upon the request of any convention or security personnel. Failure to do so will also be considered a violation of the Code of Conduct.
